Convention / Competition



Competition and Oberservation Schedule and Informaiton

Competitions will begin on Friday at 5 PM. Due to venue set-up needs, open seating will begin at 4:45 PM!

Friday's competition line-up will include all age division Solo entries in both the Performance and Competitive categories. On Friday, they will hold an early awards ceremony for the Mini & Junior age division routines only. The remainder of Friday competition entries (Teen, Senior, Adult solos) will be awarded at the conclusion of Friday's competition. A dressing area within close proximity of the competition will be available approximately 1/2 hour before our competition begins.

FRIDAY COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS: PLEASE CONSIDER DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR COMMUTE AND ARRIVAL TO UNION STATION. Estimated performance times will be given on our final line-up. We recommend arriving at least 1.5 hours prior to your estimated performance time.

Competition will begin at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Due to venue set-up needs, open seating will begin at 2:15 PM.

Saturday's competition line-up will include all age division Duo/Trio entries in both the Performance and Competitive categories in addition to all age division Group, Line, Production and Super Production entries in both the Performance and Competitive categories. On Saturday, we hold an early awards ceremony for the Mini age division routines only. The remainder of Saturday's competition entries will be awarded at the conclusion of Saturday’s competition. A dressing area within close proximity of the stage will be available no later than 1:30 PM Saturday.

Observer Bands

Observer Bands do not have to be worn for our competition. They are required for our convention only. Observer Bands pre-purchased during your online registration will be included in your registration packets. Additional observer bands will be sold at our event beginning at 8:30 AM after Dupree assesses the amount of observer space available. At-event Observer Bands are $35 for any observer in the Phaze 2, 3 & 4 Ballrooms. Children age 6 and under are free and do not require an Observer Band, but MUST be accompanied by a paid adult observer at all times. Observers are not permitted in the Teacher classes at any time. A detailed Observer Policy will be included in the email we send you immediately prior to our event. Please share this information with your parent observers. Observer bands will NOT be added to your registration packet within two weeks of our event date, no exceptions.

GO! St. Louis Marathon





Fun, fitness, running...and of course DANCE!

What a great way to spend an EARLY Sunday morning, but with DANCE! We will be performing at the GO! St. Louis Marathon in Downtown St. Louis, MO. There will be thousands of runners, walkers and spectators for this final day of the GO Marathon weekend. Come support not only the runners but these incredible performers as well!

Naitonal Dance Week



The biggest day of dance in St. Louis is almost here!

Members of Pazazz Performers will be performing at the National Dance Week - STL on April 22, 2017. This event spotlights 50 different dance studios all over the St. Louis region.

Come and support our efforts of brining dance therapy to kids at St. Louis Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

oin in this community tradition to learn about sustainable products and services offered by local businesses and organizations, meet area non-profits that share Earth Day values, catch local musical acts and performance art, participate in a number of hands-on educational activities, and enjoy diverse cuisine featuring local, organic, vegetarian, and vegan options. The 2017 Festival will include special features, like yoga classes all day for both adults and children, a rock climbing wall, a pet adoption area, and many more activities for “children” of all ages. Event entry is free; the Earth Day Festival is a welcoming place where all are invited for celebration and learning.

7th Annual Gala



Come and support our efforts of brining dance therapy to kids at St. Louis Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

Pazazz Performers will be hosting its Sixth Annual Drea's Dream Gala, April 29th, 2017 at 7:00pm, at the Edison Theatre on the campus of Washington University. Shared Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Drea's Dream, a dance therapy and expressive movement program for children with cancer and special needs, established in May of 2012 at Cardianl Glennon Children's hospital, as well as help support and fund Pazazz Performers.

The Gala is an opportunity for Pazazz to share their art and give back to the local community by raising funds for Drea's Dream. The Gala will also give the Pazazz dancers the unique opportunity of performing on a professional stage in their own concert.
